There is so much to praise about this wonderful property, not least its beautiful grounds and its enviable location, within easy walking distance of the delightful historic town of Pollensa and just a short drive to some of Mallorca’s loveliest beaches. Entering via a private cobblestone drive, flanked by immaculately tended lawns and mature trees and shrubs, you’ll encounter a pretty, farmhouse-style residence, its rustic simplicity masking the villa’s exceptional facilities and luxurious interior. With spacious, airy rooms boasting high, sloping ceilings with exposed wooden beams and landscaped gardens brimming with flourishing palms, olive trees and grasses, it’s a fabulous place to chill with friends and family.
At the heart of the property is a stunning infinity pool, fringed by a broad stone terrace with wide Roman style steps leading enticingly down into the water. A contemporary aluminium veranda has been added onto the rear elevation of the house, providing a practical and striking area of shade for blissful relaxation. A modern day bed and plenty of sun loungers are provided for those perfect, lazy days, alternately cooling down in the pool and drying off in the warm sunshine. The swimming pool also benefits from free aclimatisation in the months either side of July and August.

For outdoor lovers and keen foodies alike, the pièce de résistance is the large, timber framed summer kitchen located beside the pool, open on one side and fitted with a fridge and wine cooler, range cooker, sink and storage cupboards as well as a dining suite. It’s the perfect solution to casual, sociable meal preparation as well as keeping all your poolside beverages at just the right temperature.

If you’ve over-indulged on fresh bread and pastries from the local bakery, you’ll be delighted that the other unexpected feature of this superb holiday home is a stand-alone gym and games room, with sliding glass walls and surrounded by lush tropical gardens. As well as a selection of gym equipment, it also houses a tv, pool table and table football and a table tennis table is located just outside, so there are ample opportunities to lay down the gauntlet and indulge in a little friendly competition.

Inside, the house is well furnished and immaculately presented, with a large, comfortable lounge/dining room and a fully fitted indoor kitchen with all modern appliances and gadgets. There are two en suite bedrooms, both generously proportioned, with king size beds and luxurious bath or shower rooms appointed to a very high specification. There are also four further bedrooms, including a single, a double and two twins, all air conditioned, as well as an additional shower room to share, providing an excellent range of accommodation for families travelling together.

Nearby you’ll find golfing options, fantastic scenic drives and the pretty beaches of Cala San Vicente and Puerto Pollensa. With all the facilities of Old Pollensa on your doorstep, heading out for dinner is sure to be one of the highlights of your stay, with numerous excellent restaurants spilling out across the town square and along the narrow, pedestrianised streets of this very popular little town. The Sunday farmer’s market is not to be missed – a glorious feast for the eyes and the taste buds – and there are plenty of chic boutiques and gift shops to browse around. Be sure to take up the Calvario challenge, a walk of 365 steps up to the charming Calvari chapel, ambling back down to treat yourself to a cool drink before wandering home to the delights of Villa Canacati.
